| Dan Mills | I'm a retired Security Consultant, law enforcement officer and a Marine. I am more than a hobby chef in that I have had at least two different catering companies and still try to keep a well floured hand in the business. I most enjoy upscale and pacific rim cooking, but still want to do an occasional bar-b-que as well. I'm blessed to be in Florida where I can use an outdoor kitchen most everyday. |

I started cooking when
I was in high school. My mom doesn't enjoy it and
if we waited for her to make dinner, we'd have
burgers at 8:30. She did bake bread (every Sunday
she made enough for our family of 7). Not
working, now, I have started to explore Mexican
and Moroccan cuisines. And bread. I now make all
the bread for my husband and myself, and some
neighbors, too. Always looking for more yeast and
sourdough recipes. Anyone with high altitude
cookie recipes, please share them.
