if you want to use fresh vegetables
                        that's ok too.
  2 cups cooked chicken
10 3/4 ounces Cream of Chicken Soup -- undiluted (1 can)
     1/2 cup mayonnaise
  1 teaspoon lemon juice
  8 slices American Cheese
     1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
  2 tablespoons melted butter

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13x9x2-inch baking dish.

Cook vegetables on high in micro-wave oven 4 minutes. Drain well.

Evenly distribute vegetables in bottom of dish. Spread chicken evenly over
vegetables.

In a small bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise and lemon juice.
Spread over top of chicken.

Evenly layer cheese slices overlapping some on top of soup mixture.

Mix bread crumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over cheese slices.

Bake uncovered in a 350F. oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until bubbly and
crumbs are nicely browned.

Let sit 5 minutes before serving.

Served this to one of our Priests one time and he had seconds.

Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Volume 7-04 Apr 2004

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
     1/4 cup sugar -- divided
2 pints fresh strawberries -- stemmed and halved
  4 ounces softened cream cheese
  2 cups whipping cream
  1 store bought pound cake
Melted raspberry jelly or jam -- to taste
Sherry or orange liqueur -- optional

Fold 1/8 cup sugar into the sliced berries; set aside.

Beat the remaining 1/8 cup sugar into the cream cheese.

Whip the cream until stiff peaks form; then fold the cream cheese into the
cream.

Cut the cake into slices about 1/3 inch thick; arrange a layer of slices in
bottom of glass bowl; sprinkle with a teaspoon of sherry and spread with
melted jelly. Then put in a layer of strawberries and a layer of cream.

Continue layering, ending with a layer of cream.

Garnish with a whole berry

NOTES : Delicious! I made half the amount here and did them in three large
glass custard dishes. I used orange liqueur for a wonder flavor.
