Due to the Covid-19 Virus, our support group suspended meetings after March 2020.  The former Facilitator, Art Guyer, resigned as of the first of October and a  new management team is currently working on plans for 2021.  If you are interested in keeping abreast of what is happening in the support group, fill out the form on the Contact Us page and indicate you would like to sign up for our monthly newsletter.

You are invited and encouraged to visit one of our support group meetings—without obligation—to decide for yourself if group activity can help you have a better life while suffering from this life-altering disease.  There is no charge (you buy your own lunch), there is plenty of parking, and it is easily accessed by those with mobility challenges.

Our meetings generally consist of a group luncheon at the Western Sizzlin Steakhouse, 17567 York Road,  Hagerstown, MD (301-791-7560) and an expert speaker on some aspect of Parkinson's Disease or its treatment.

Meetings are normally held on the first Thursday of every month, at 11:45 AM.  Please contact us to verify date and time.  Our meeting schedule, speakers, and activities are shown below.    Put the dates on your calendar now!  Contact: 301-797-7323  |  jpfiery@verizon.net if you need information or transportation.

Persons with Parkinson's and/or caregivers and other family members should attend these meetings.  Those who have family or friends with Parkinson's and any one with similar diseases are also welcome.  Individuals in senior services professions are always welcome to sit in on our meetings too.
